NIGER STATE DEPUTY GOVERNOR YAKUBU GARBA JOINS SHIRORO CHAIRMAN CANDIDATE ON CAMPAIGN WALK, DONATES ₦15 MILLION TO WOMEN COOPERATIVE ASSOCIATIONS.
Deputy Governor of Niger State, Yakubu Garba, has joined supporters on a solidarity walk in support of the All Progressives Congress Chairmanship flag bearer, Isyaku Bawa Kuta, ahead of the forthcoming Local Government elections.
The Chief press secretary, Ummikhaltume Abdullahi Kuta in a press statement noted that the event, took place in Kuta, with a massive turnout of party faithful.
Yakubu Garba has urged the people of Kuta to vote the APC and Isyaku Bawa in the Saturday polls as their next chairman in Shiroro local government.
He further urged the people of Kuta and the entire Shiroro Local Government Area to turn out in mass to vote for all APC candidates, reaffirming that the Bago-led administration remains committed to peace, progress, and prosperity for all.
The massive turnout at the solidarity walk reflects the growing confidence of the people in the leadership of Governor Umaru Mohammed Bago and Deputy Governor, Yakubu Garba, as they continue to deliver on their promises of a new and better Niger State.
While demonstrating his unwavering commitment to grassroots empowerment, the deputy governor donated ₦15 million to support 15 women cooperative associations drawn from Bangajiya, Ubandoma, and Gwada Wards, with five groups benefiting from each ward.
The Deputy Governor assured the people of Shiroro Local Government that the remaining wards will also benefit from similar support as part of the administration’s inclusive empowerment and development agenda.
