Nigeria Launches Free Cancer Screening Program

The Nigerian Ministry of Health has launched a nationwide free cancer screening initiative, targeting women and men at risk of late-stage diagnoses. Mobile clinics will travel across rural areas to provide testing for breast, cervical, and prostate cancers.
Officials hope the program will reduce the high mortality rate caused by late detection in the country.
