FARMER GOVERNOR UMARU BAGO CELEBRATES EMIR OF BORGU, Dr DANTORO KITORO IV, ON A DECADE OF IMPACTFUL REIGN.
Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago congratulates the Emir of Borgu, Dr Mohammed Sani Haliru Dantoro Kitoro IV, on his 10th anniversary on the throne.
In a congratulatory message through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the farmer governor, describes the Emir of Borgu as selfless and compassionate royal father, who always has the interest of his subjects at heart.
He commends the significant role of the Emir in supporting the policies and programmes of his administration geared towards the general growth and development of the Borgu kingdom and Niger State as awhole.
The farmer governor observes how the Emir has continued to uphold the legacy of his forefathers and strengthened the cultural value and sanctity of the throne.
He also recounts how the Emir has championed initiatives through his foundation to provide support to the less privileged, youth empowerment, educational scholarships, and healthcare interventions, among others.
The farmer governor further acknowledges that the reign of Dr Haliru Dantoro Kitoro IV in the last 10 years is characterised by selfless and humanitarian leadership, peaceful coexistence, and remarkable socio-economic impact.
He maintains that the Emir has been able to blend his expertise, experience, and vision to bring enduring progress and prosperity to the kingdom and its people.
The farmer governor prays that Allah will continue to guide and guard the Emir, grant him more wisdom and strength to sustain his purposeful leadership to his subjects.
He also prays that his reign shall continue to be peaceful, impactful, and progressive.
