FRSC NIGER COMMAND SET NOVEMBER SIX FOR TOWN HALL MEETING: ASSURES OF FREE TRAFFIC FLOW ON SATURDAY
The Federal Road Safety Corps FRSC Niger State Sector Command, has expressed readiness to deepen collaboration with media partners in promoting road safety awareness across the state.
This commitment was reaffirmed during a courtesy visit by the Chief Executive Officer and MD of LINA TV Celine Moses Alkali, to the office of the Sector Commander, Corps Commander Aishat Sa’adu, in Minna.
During the meeting, Alkali highlighted the need for strategic communication in road safety campaigns, stressing that LINA TV is an online based broadcasting outfit committed to driving human-interest stories and developmental messages through documentaries, live streaming, voiceovers, and digital advertising.
She explained that in today’s digital era, online broadcasting provides a global reach at a fraction of the cost of conventional television stations, adding that Niger State deserves a stronger home-based media platform to showcase its institutions and developmental strides.
In her response, Corps Commander Aishat Sa’adu appreciated the visit and expressed delight in the prospect of collaboration as she reaffirmed the command’s openness to partnerships that promote public safety, noting that synergy with credible media organizations would help amplify road safety messages to a wider audience.
The visit came ahead of the 2025 Ember Months Campaign, which was flagged off with a press conference and motorcade last week. The command also announced plans for a Town Hall Meeting on November 6, where relevant stakeholders and agencies will deliberate on strategies for reducing road crashes and enhancing road discipline across the state.
